Free is the whole cooking experience, not a countdown. Paying adds sync, storage, and step photos, and it adds them permanently.

Questions people ask before paying

What happens to my recipes if I stop paying?

Nothing, because there is nothing to stop. Premium is a one time purchase, not a subscription. If you never buy it, your recipes still live on your device and you can still export them.

Is the free tier a trial?

No. It has no time limit and no recipe limit. The paid tiers add sync, backups, step photos, and storage, which are the parts that cost us money to run.

Do I need an account?

Only for sync. Everything else works signed out, including import, planning, shopping lists, and cook mode.

Can I move my recipes to another app later?

Yes. Recipes are stored as JSON and you can export the whole library at any time. There is no lock in and no export fee.

What does Family actually share?

Up to five people share cookbooks, shopping lists, and meal plans. Each person keeps their own private recipes unless they put them in a shared cookbook.

Is 2 GB enough storage?

For most libraries, yes. Recipe text is tiny, images are what use space, and 2 GB is roughly 4,000 photos at the size the app stores them.
